2020 Dodge Grand Caravan Interior Specs

Will there be a 2020 Dodge Grand Caravan? Dodge’s Grand Caravan lineup has been a staple minivan for American families for more than three decades. However, there are rumors that indicate that the lineup will be ended soon.

Fortunately, these are just rumors. One of Dodge top officials stated that the company stated that the company still continues to manufacture the Grand Caravan. In fact, we are going to see a new Grand Caravan soon.

If you are interested in the upcoming Dodge Grand Caravan, you’d want to read on. Here we have the upcoming minivan’s design, performance, release date, and price.

2020 Dodge Grand Caravan Redesign

It appears that we are going to see New Dodge Grand Caravan redesign both for the exterior and the interior. Let’s start with the exterior first. The next generation Grand Caravan will come with an excellent styling as well as new technology. There will be a chrome grille, power-heated side mirrors with body color, galvanized steel/aluminum accents, LED brake lights, Perimeter/Approach lights, Aero-Composite Halogen DRLs and much more.

The minivan will use a 17 x 6.5 inches aluminum wheels with the Touring tires of BWS P225/65R17. The minivan will be 202.8 inches in length, 65.6 inches in width and 67.9 inches tall with a 121.2-inch wheelbase.

Inside, there will be a range of standard features which include power driver seat, side curtain airbags, sliding side doors, navigation, onboard data services, USB ports, Bluetooth and audio system. The cabin will be able to accommodate seven adult passengers.

Performance & Fuel Economy

The 2020 Dodge Grand Caravan is likely to use a 3.6-liter, Pentastar V-6 engine which is capable of producing up to 238 horsepower with 260 pound-ft of torque. This engine will be paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission gearbox. Also, the front-wheel-drive system will be standard.

The new Grand Caravan will have a “fuel economizer” driving mode. This mode will optimize the minivan’s fuel efficiency with just a touch of a button. If it is not enough, the driver can also optimize the fuel efficiency even further by simply adjusting its transmission shift schedule.

The Grand Caravan lineup is well-known for years as a family car. A powerful one at that, too. This will be better for the upcoming Grand Caravan. After all, it can tow up to 1,500 pounds, and 17/25 mpg (city/highway) fuel economy, making it a much better family car than its predecessor.

2020 Dodge Grand Caravan Release Date and Price

As for the 2020 Dodge Grand Caravan release date, some says that the upcoming Grand Caravan should hit the market in the second half of 2018. However, some others say that it may hit the market later and become a 2020 model. So far, there is no official statement about the exact date.

The same goes for the price as well. There is no official statement about the 2020 Grand Caravan price. While this is true, we can safely say that the price will not be too different from its predecessor. We expect the starting price to be around $27,000.

The Grand Caravan lineup is a good family car. This tradition is going to be continued by the upcoming Grand Caravan which will arrive soon. Since we are going to see lots of improvements, we expect it to offer better driving experience than its predecessor.
