2020 RAM 1500 Center Console Review

If you are a fan of Ram 1500 lineup, 2020 Ram 1500 concept will excite you. The upcoming Ram 1500 is going to receive lots of significant updates and changes. Interested? Just read on, then. We will tell you the things you should know about it.

2020 RAM 1500 Redesign

We are going to see significant New Ram 1500 Facelift. Let’s talk about two of them. The first significant redesign happens on its grille. The upcoming truck is not going to use a crosshair grille, which is a design cue that has been used for many years. As for the second redesign, we can see it from the upcoming truck’s size. Compared to its predecessors, it has a larger size while at the same time weighs hundreds of pounds lighter.

Trim Levels

The upcoming truck is going to be available in seven trim levels. These trim levels are Tradesman, HFE, Big Horn, Rebel, Longhorn, Laramie, and Limited. Each of these trims is made for specific purposes. For example, the Tradesman trim is an entry-level model, which means it comes with standard features and will be the cheapest trim, HFE is focused on fuel economy while the Rebel is meant to be an off-road model.

For the moment, the price range for these trims is not yet known. Expect to see it closer to 2020 Ram 1500 release date.

2020 RAM 1500 Hybrid Engine Specs & All Trims

Performance

The upcoming track is going to use a 3.6-liter V6 mild hybrid engine as the standard engine. This engine has an output of 305 horsepower and 90 pound-ft of torque. There will also two other options available as well, which are 5.7-liter V8 regular version and a mild hybrid version with an output of 395 horsepower and 130 pound-ft of torque.

With such engine options, the upcoming truck is estimated to have a maximum towing capacity of 12,750 pounds and a maximum payload capacity of 2,300 pounds. While the upcoming truck capability is decent, they fall short of what the competitions have.

Features

There will be lots of available features in the 2020 Ram 1500 SRT. For the infotainment system, there will be UConnect infotainment system which can be accessed through an 8.4- or 12-inch touchscreen display, Harman Kardon audio system with 19 speakers, smartphone connectivity (both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), a wireless charging pad, in-bed storage system from RamBox and an electronic-locking rear differential.

What about safety features? Well, according to 2020 Ram 1500 concept, there will be many safety features offered by the upcoming truck. For instance, active driver assist system (which includes lane departure warning, forward collision warning, and adaptive cruise control), blind spot monitoring, a camera system with 360-degree coverage, automatic high beam headlights and so on.

In summary, according to 2020 Ram 1500 Diesel, the upcoming truck will be more efficient with lots of useful features. There will be seven trim levels for the truck, each with its own set of features.

The upcoming truck is not perfect, though. One of its shortcomings is its maximum towing capacity, which is less than its competitions. Other than that, the upcoming truck is quite good. We expect it to provide a better driving experience than the current model.
