2020 Chevy Tahoe Redesign; Specs & Release Date
It seems that Chevrolet is trying to pave its own way into the crossover vehicle market with their main line, Tahoe. Chevrolet is doing what they can to improve their chances here. This is why we can expect the 2020 Chevy Tahoe to get some changes here and there. Do you want to know what these changes are? Well, read on. We have the information just for you.
2020 Chevrolet Tahoe Redesign
The new Tahoe is going to continue with three rows of seating. Since comfort is one of the aspects that Chevrolet puts its focus on, you can expect the crossover to be very comfortable. There will be plenty of space for the head, legs, and storage. Heating seats will likely to be available, at least for the front seats. The dual-zone climate will also be included, making the crossover even more appealing.
Will the new model get redesigned? It seems so. While you can expect 2020 Chevy Tahoe redesign, the changes will not stray too far from the current model. We expect the new Tahoe will keep the current model’s features, such as a leather-covered wheel, incorporated electric power outlet, audio system with 6 speakers and car surroundings control.
The 2020 Tahoe is likely to use Silverado’s engine, which is a 5.3-liter, V8 engine. Many speculated that the engine to get some improvement. This means that the engine will be able to generate more horsepower with more torque. The engine is predicted to be able to generate up to 370 horsepower with 400 lb-ft of torque. Also, the new RST trim is likely to get a more powerful engine. It is predicted to be a 6.2-liter, V8 engine capable of generating 420 horsepower with 470 lb-ft of torque.
The above is speculation, so it is not certain yet. At the moment, the only certain thing is that the new Tahoe will use a CVT transmission.
Technology and Safety
Since the new Tahoe will be released in 2019, it is safe to say that the crossover will have the most recent, if not the latest, infotainment systems. Another aspect that Chevrolet puts its focus on is safety. The soon-to-be-released is designed to be a family car. As such, safety is very important. The current model has an excellent rating in terms of safety, which we expect the 2020 model to continue.
2020 Chevy Tahoe Release Date and Price
Unfortunately, there is no statement about the 2020 Chevy Tahoe release date, nor there is any statement about the price. While this is so, the new Tahoe is speculated to be released in the second half of 2018.
As for the price, it will be more or less similar to the current model, which means the base model price will start around $48,500 while the 2020 Chevy Tahoe RST will start around $75,500.
